Vedrana graduated with a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology at Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb. She joined Zoldos group 2007 at the Department of Molecular Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, where she completed her PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry under the mentorship of Prof. Vlatka Zoldoš. In her PhD thesis she was investigating molecular organization, epigenetic characterization and transcriptional activity of 18S-5.8S-26S rDNA loci in Quercus robur cycling cells. She is currently working as a postdoc in the group of Prof. Zoldoš and her main focus is in studying chromatin modifications and developing new methodologies for sorting transfected HEK293FreeStyle cells.
